Petanque Potluck & Picnic…

28 May

Ten petanquers came out for the CPC’s 2011 Petanque Potluck
Picnic making it truly an “event royale”…why even the Kaiser himself was in attendance!

Ziggy’s “boule of death” finds its mark!!!

Like a shoal of piranhas skeletonizing a cow, CPC members
descend upon the smorgasbord of edibles which included jalapeno cornbread,
chips and guacamole, bean vinaigrette salad, salami, cheese, fruit, French bread, chocolate covered apples, pecan clusters, chips and the much hyped potato salad…

The CPC’s Secretary of the Treasury presents Ziggy with a rubber
check in support of his bid to become the National Petanque Champion at this
year’s tournament in California! Good Luck Ziggy…”the Terror ofTogo!”

Goooood MorningChicagoPetanque Club!

Let’s make this upcoming Memorial Day weekend a memorable one by getting together for our annual Petanque Potluck Picnic on Saturday, May 28th at the terrains in Forest Park! Bring a dish to share, some boules to throw and your will to party!

John and I will be getting things set up around 11 AM. Remember, you can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning…Please respond if you plan to attend, and give us a hint of what you’re bringing so we don’t end up with 10 varieties of potato salad…in fact, you know what? Forget it; I’M bringin’ the potato salad!
